Left Carpal Tunnel Release and Exploration

This exhibit depicts the release of the left carpal tunnel with an exploration of the wrist. An incision is made over the palm in line with the fourth ray, and the transcarpal ligament (carpal tunnel) is released with a scalpel. The contents of the carpal canal were then dissected free and found to be without lesion.
